These steps include a pilot test using the Solution methods which will be new methods for your sales team, and a control group doing business with no change, so that you can measure the incremental results. Although clients can often be anxious to have the entire sales force immediately benefit from cƒMAX and sƒMAX, the pilot vs. control step is important to clearly identify the results due to your investment, and to justify continuing investment. Operational roll-out provides the Solutions to the entire sales rep or sales manager team, so that everyone benefits from the results. Step 1 — Pilot and Pre-Implementation
- Assess the key metrics, stakeholders, and appropriate business segment(s).
- Develop the right approach, models, insights and customize to your data. Create pilot plan logistics.
- Pilot with an initial team, and define basis for success. Demonstrate the model’s effectiveness, share key learnings with your stakeholders, and project the expected value and results of a roll-out.
The pilot helps get feedback, and validates the effectiveness and expected value during a full roll-out. This greatly accelerates the acceptance and adoption of new methods across the organization. We know the latter is true because often teams that are not participating in the pilot can’t wait to be in on the exciting, timely and actionable data – we keep hearing “I’ve never seen anything like this before!”
This phase lasts 4-6 weeks, and often clients recover the cost of implementation within this period.
Step 2 — Operational Roll-out
Once the results, learnings and best practices from the pilot are in place, you are ready to deploy to as much of the organization as you want. You can choose one or more teams, or all of the sales reps. The choice and flexibility is yours.
Valgen will provide all training required for the sales reps to become effective almost immediately. The flags, reports and triggers are so intuitive, easy and “spot-on”, they resonate with the users, providing further credibility and adoption of the information.
Step 3 — Ongoing Support and Maintenance
Valgen, through its proven statistical methodology, will provide reports detailing the incremental revenue gained due to use of our products, for you to share with decision-makers and other stakeholders.
Valgen can also pinpoint areas that underperform relative to expectations, identifying issues that could have caused lower (or higher) than expected performance. During this stage, Valgen will monitor the trends, and suggest proactively if any fine-tuning is necessary, and undertake such effort at no additional cost to you.
Why is this important? Because this ensures the ongoing accuracy and reliability of the data, guaranteeing that it reflects current sales and market information. This is what separates Valgen from other BI providers or applications.
