Predict goals based on modeling of projected trends, then track and correct actions to meet goals on an ongoing basis. Determine and validate goal drivers and formula.
- Problem: Goals are mostly rolled over from prior performance (and therefore static), not on current rep, market, customer and product trends.
- Solution: Identify factors that are most influential to performance and incorporate them in goal formula.
- Value: Reduce the dependence on past history, reflect current market conditions and incentivize reps on future performance.
